Season 2 was one of my favorite seasons (until now 😁) but I was super disappointed that my favorite didn't win (lets hope that's not the case this season! 🤞🤞🤞). The Rottweiler aka CHRIS DAUGHTRY HOW this man and his INCREDIBLE vocals did not win is BEYOND ME!! 😡 #stillbitter I WILL NEVER GET OVER THIS!!! 😭😡😭 Favorite performances: Man-eater, Castle on the Hill, Somebody You Loved (the performance everything clicked and I realized who he was!), Mr. Brightside & Alive The Fox aka WAYNE BRADY Even tho I was mad he won....he was really good! Since group B performed this week (aka no Hanson) I decided to take a little trip down memory lane and share some of my favorite past performances from the show. Cancel culture is NOT coming for Dr. Seuss!! NO WAY! I was sorely disappointed to read article after article about Dr. Seuss being a "racist" and that 6 of his books will no longer be published. Really? That's what you're going to talk about today, ON HIS BIRTHDAY!?! I have been "celebrating" Dr. Seuss's birthday for a few years and have always (in the past) found articles that commemorate this great author and pay tribute to his amazing contribution to children's literature. But this year, and I guess I'm not really that surprised, it was all "dR. sEuSs Is RaCiSt!" I'm not denying that some of his early political cartoons were racist...because they absolutely were! But remember, that was in a different time. People can change. He apologized for those early cartoons (which were not even associated with the children's books we know and love him for).
