A day that I did not attain to last year as it was a very traumatic day for me (a year ago today, May 31st, 2019, I thought my sweet, precious, little dog, my best friend in the whole world, was taking his last breath .... fast forward to right now, May 31st, 2020, and my sweet boy is doing better than ever! Song: Get the Girl Back Artist: Hanson, Anthem This was the single from Anthem and by far the best, catchiest song off the album (in my opinion)! Such a fun song! This is the type of song that makes you want to learn the lyrics so you can sing along - not to mention there's a great "clapping" 👏 section that you ABSOLUTELY MUST clap along too (it's basically Fanson law). HAPPY GRADUATION DAY!!! 🎓 One of my youngest brothers is GRADUATING High School today!! 🙌🎉😭 Where has the time gone?? How has my little brother gotten so big!? He's had an interesting end to his high school experience with a world-wide pandemic cutting it short. It's memorable for sure! But his ceremony was the best EVER! A drive through!? Can we make this the new normal?? lol.  I'm so proud of my brother!! School has never been easy for him and although he sluffed a little too often 😉 much to my parents chagrin; and maybe didn't give his studies and assignments his all.... I'm still super proud of him! He got through it! Even if school and class work isn't his strength my brother is a hard worker! If he puts his mind to it, he can do anything! He's going to be so successful in his life! (that doesn't feel like the appropriate word but IDK what else to say) this cause throughout the month, but am conflicted because May is also HANSON MONTH (for me)! The third bonus song is just an acoustic version of the song Something Going Round   (featured on yesterdays post) so I didn't think it was necessary to share that song for the second day in a row. With the whole Covid lock down....my life has been.....well, honestly not a ton has changed for me....that's so embarrassing and sad to say but I have felt an overwhelming sense of all the emotions. Song: Hey Artist: Hanson, Underneath I'm already on the last song of Underneath! This was the album I had already shared from the most, so it's not too surprising it was a brief run. Not to mention it's my favorite Hanson album, so if you are a newbie and don't know where to start.....well, I would say to just start at the beginning with Middle of Nowhere (because I'm a chronological order kind of freak!) but, this album is a real stand out and a general favorite among most Hanson fans so.....where I am I going with this? Oh, right. If you're a newbie to Hanson and their music, this album is a great place to start where you can get a taste of Hanson's style and craftsmanship. ANYWAY. I really love this song!! It's catchy and a little "boy bandish" sounding to me (which I  LOVE! ). Also, shout out to Taylor! He was really in his element on this one and I love the way he sounds on this song!
