Song:  If I Were A Shepherd Artist: Stephanie K. Adams Why did my eyes instantly fill with tears while I listened to this song just now? Not because of the beautiful melody or sweet simplicity of the lyrics, but because it made me think of my grandmother. My grandmother who passed away almost 20 years ago. My mom's mom. I remember a time many Christmases ago of my mom sharing this song with us and telling us how much her mother loved it. I remember that she sang it for us while playing an old instrument (a harpsicord I believe?) even though she's very shy and doesn't usually like to sing in front of people. It made me think of the way my mom loved her mom and how much I can tell, even after all these years, how much she still misses her. Song: One More Christmas With You Artist: A Girl Named Tom I was introduced to this sweet group after they opened for Pentatonix at their Christmas concert. They are a brother-sister group (two brothers, one sister) who won The Voice not too long ago. They were so adorable and I guess I'm just a sucker for sibling groups 😏 I have really been enjoying their Christmas album!  This song is a tear jerker! 😢 I remember getting a lump in my throat when they said they wrote this song about their father who passed away in January. I had tears in my eyes as they sang because it made me think of my two grandparents I lost this year and of course my sweet puppy dog. 💔 Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed my mom wiping away tears. God is so good!! 🤍🙏🙌 I had a difficult night. At 2:30 in the morning I found myself on my knees pleading for forgiveness. Overwhelmed with guilt from sins I can't seem to stop repeating. I promised my Heavenly Father I wouldn't do it again. But, I've made this promise so many times before and haven't proved to be very trustworthy. This morning wasn't much better. I slept in way too long. I didn't want to face the day or myself. I was lazy. I was grumpy and snappy for no reason. I finally knelt down to pray once again at 3:00 this afternoon. I asked for forgiveness again. I prayed to feel God's love and forgiveness and for His Holy Spirit to be with me. After I ended my prayer, I decided I needed to read something uplifting (as I didn't read from my scriptures this morning like I always mean to). I decided to read a little book I got from my grandmother's home after she had moved out (and who is now no longer here so it's extra special to me T
