After a difficult night and morning of feeling so frustrated and angry and depressed and numb, I decided to just try to remember and focus on the true meaning of Christmas and watched The Christ Child & The Shepherd. I started to cry as I actually felt God's love and remembered why we celebrate Christmas. Who came, who suffered and died for me. It feels good to be out of that dark place. I know things won't be easy, but it was a peaceful and much needed reminder that God sees me and is aware of me and is there. 

Although I don't understand the words in these two songs (at least Riu Riu Chiu), I love them. They are catchy and beautiful and I know they are speaking about the Savior. And that's why I love them. Because I love Him.

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
