Music is my Therapy

Song: Jesus, the Very Thought of Thee Artist: Hymns, pg. 141 Not going to lie, the past several weeks have been rough. And it all escalated yesterday. But, things are now looking better and I'm going to start taking the steps necessary to get help and to get myself feeling better. I hope I can focus on my Savior more this week. I haven't been feeling well (I'm always unwell mentally but this time I have some physical ailments as well) and I am feeling very lethargic and drained of energy. I'm hoping to get some rest this week and use my down time wisely. I hope to use it focusing on the final week of the Savior's mortal life. Reading and studying his teachings. My relationship with God hasn't been the best and that is my own fault. I have isolated myself from Him. It makes me sad. But I know that God has not given up on me. He is always there. That's because I was trying to soak in every last minute I had with my sister. My best friend. Someone who has always, always been here. My sister and friend has left me and the rest of our family to serve an 18-month long service mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints . We gave our final farewells today. I gave her my last hug. I took my last picture with her. For eighteen months she will be living far away, with limited contact to family and friends. She won't be home this summer. She won't be home during the holidays. I can't call or text her whenever I want. I can only write her an email and hope for a reply once a week.  This is the third sibling to leave on a church mission in my family. Ea
