This year, I have been EMBRACING my birthday in all the selfish ways! 😂 From taking my this morning getting up, to eating a "not so healthy" breakfast because I wanted to and it was yummy to jamming, singing and dancing my little heart out to Michael Jackson as I took my time getting ready, today is all about ME! 😁 I'm feeling grateful for all the sweet and lovely texts and birthday wishes from my family. I'm excited because I'm going to an Escape Room tonight and I'm a nerd who LOVES escape rooms, puzzles, riddles, etc. It's also "Halloween/Witchy" themed which is right up my alley! I'm just allowing myself to be HAPPY to be alive and accepting all the things that make me ME. It's that time of year again...one week until my birthday. 😳😬😨 *DEEP BREATH* Last year I was hoping "30" would be my real "fresh start." Like, I'd actually start making the very necessary changes I need to make to move forward and be somewhere completely new and fulfilling in life. I got to kick-off my birthday celebrations by seeing TWO of my favorite artists; it felt like the perfect way to start anew. To have a clean slate and fresh start... But, here I am a whole year later and I'm basically "i n the same place, r unning in the same race, same pace " It's disappointing. As usual. There have been some "big changes" since then I suppose: I got a job. I got a new dog. I started practicing my driving again. I ride my bike and take myself to the library and a few stores. AND THAT'S A WRAP!! I SAW THE GOO GOO DOLLS LIVE !!! 🖤🤘🙌😍😭✨🔥🎸 I have now officially seen every single one of my top favorite artists LIVE in concert!! Wow. Today would have been Michael Jackson's 65th birthday if he were still here 😢 I wish I could have been in Las Vegas attending his "Blue Sapphire Birthday Celebration!" I have found I enjoy so much being a part of "fan communities." I love being around like minded people who have a shared and common passion and aren't afraid to express it. It's one reason I have loved going to concerts so much lately; all of these different people from all walks of life share the same love for the music that I love so deeply. HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY TAYLOR HANSON!!! 🎂🥳🎉 I've been waiting for an excuse to "fangirl" over this video "publicly" and today seemed as good a time as any!  I can't believe this man is 40 today!! 🤯🥳 What a career he has had!
