You would have been 19 years old today! I still think of you, hear you and see you in every familiar place. Everywhere I go, I take you with me. You are always with me in my heart and you always will be for the rest of my life!! There's been some very recent experiences where I had to do something or go somewhere that I haven't done/gone since you've been gone. The memories that came with those moments were sad but also somehow comforting. Natural. Normal. They felt right. I know that was because you were there. You were there when I walked down our old, original trail for the first time again. You were there when I visited PetSmart again. When I walked down the dog aisle at the store. When I went to your favorite "vacation" spot once more 😌 Never thought I'd be back there. But I could feel you right there beside me, helping me know it was OK.
