 I'm honestly so surprised I haven't posted this one before (I know, I say this about a lot of Hanson songs!) but this one really surprises me because it could literally be the "theme song" for my blog!! My blog, overall, is truly a "Musical Ride!" It was inspired by music. My love for music. How I listen to music every day, all of the time, connecting with songs and artists and genres. It makes me laugh sometimes reading my old posts. Sometimes they make me cringe. Or smile. Or feel more depressed. But, the one thing they all have in common is MUSIC. They all have a song that really meant something to me at that time. It could have been a "theme song of my life!", a song I was just loving, loving, LOVING and had to share mainly so because I wanted a place to geek out over it, a song that I emotionally connected to with every fiber of my soul, holiday songs that I was obsessed with and brand new finds.

I hope you have enjoyed the "Musical Ride" of Music Is My Therapy so far! It truly has been a roller coaster! SO many ups and downs and everything in between. I sure have! And this is one ride I plan on never getting off of!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us. When we stop and allow ourselves to "give in" to the pain and sadness that comes with the stress of life, that's when we begin to slip and fall into a deep depression.
