Grateful For Music Challenge Day 13

It has to be Michael today because I'm feeling SO SAD AND DISAPPOINTED RIGHT NOW!!! 😭😭

The reason I'm feeling sad and disappointed is because for weeks I have been checking for when tickets would be on sale for the production of MJ: The Musical that's coming to a city near me the beginning of next year (they are currently on their first National tour and I found out they'd be coming to my state months ago! I was thrilled and have been waiting to get my tix ever since!)! Well, of course the one week I don't check the website they go on sale and have ALREADY SOLD OUT!! 😭😭 I have wanted to go ever since this show came out almost TWO YEARS AGO!! I was so excited to see that it was coming to my state!! I tried so hard to be diligent in watching for the exact moment tickets would go on sale but I MISSED IT!! I'm shocked. And sad. 😞 They sold out SO FAST! I didn't even have a chance. And the really frustrating thing is that people are already trying to re-sale them for ridiculous amounts of money!! UGH!! HUMANS ARE THE WORST!! 😑🀬 I'm so, so, so sad!!! πŸ’”πŸ˜­ 

I had one consolation in all of this. I just found out about another MJ Tribute Concert coming to a city near me so I was thought, "Since I can't get tickets to the musical (πŸ—‘πŸ’”πŸ˜­) I can at least get tickets for this! And they are waaaay cheaper!" Guess what?? SOLD OUT!! ALREADY!!! AND I JUST BARELY FOUND OUT ABOUT IT TWO DAYS AGO!! WHO IS BUYING UP ALL OF MY MJ TICKETS!?!? πŸ˜‘ It's annoying for real. 

I know I shouldn't complain. I have been really lucky the last two years getting to go to a lot of concerts and seeing so many of my favorite artists. Plus, I did get to see an INCREDIBLE tribute show last summer!! But...still. I can't help but feel (not to sound dramatic but...) DEVESTATED!! πŸ˜­πŸ’”πŸ˜­ As a hardcore, loyal Moonwalker, who follows tons of "MJ Community" sites on social media...I've been longing for this experience for years! To no longer live vicariously through other people on a screen but to be there in person and experience it for myself! It's times like these that I wish I had a better job so I had more money and was brave enough to travel alone and make friends with strangers. 😞 But I'm not. 

OK. I'll stop complaining. Again, I know I'm blessed and I'm grateful for the many opportunities I have had. And wanna know something else?? I'm NOT giving up!! I'm still going to try to get tickets up until the WEEK it's here!! Until the final curtain falls! 😀 You never know what can happen!!! The season of miracles is upon us and I CAN STILL DREAM!!! ✨ Miracles CAN HAPPEN!! Even for someone like me. 

ANNNNDDD all of THAT is what brings us to today's song! I've shared MJ's PHENOMONAL original version of this song before; so today I'm sharing the Broadway version (seems appropriate...even though I can hardly listen to it without having my heart broken again πŸ’”) because it is FIRE! πŸ”₯ UGH!! IT SOUNDS SOOOOO GOOOOOD!!! I want to see the show so bad to understand what part this is at and who the other people singing with MJ are suppose to be!! I had my heart set on this! πŸ˜­πŸ’” The message of this song is what is keeping me hopeful in securing some tickets and someday getting the chance to see this incredible show dedicated to the most incredible musician in the world!! πŸ€žπŸ’“πŸ˜­πŸ™ŒπŸ™ Also, shout-out to the ending of Keep the Faith (Reprise)!! It's so freaking soulful and powerful!! It's a spiritual experience listening to that song!! πŸ”₯πŸ™ŒπŸ˜­πŸ’“

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me!
