HAPPY HALLOWEEN ALL YOU GHOULS & GOBLINS!!!

I hope you've enjoyed another year of spooky tunes from yours truly to help celebrate the season! I've listened to a lot of "Halloween music" this month, more than I usually do, so it's going to be quite a transition for me going from the intense and somewhat dark music to...Josh Groban, lol.

This song felt appropriate to end the month with! I saw lots of costumes, went to a Corn Maze and Haunted House, ate candy (literally got to trick-or-treat again as an adult! It was awesome, lol) and just finished watching my annual viewing of Thriller! Yup, it's HALLOWEEN alright!

I had a really fun Halloween! I didn't have much of a theme like I have in the past but I still carved a pumpkin, dressed up, made my traditional Halloween themed dinner (with a new addition of Berry Bloody Punch, DELICIOUS! 10/10, recommend!) and made a treat (Pumpkin Snickerdoodles). This year however, I thought it would be fun to actually go do something...I typically stay home and bake/decorate my Halloween dessert of the year throughout the evening and maybe watch Charlie Brown or The Adventures of Ichabod Crane, pass out candy and watch Thriller (I also wanted to be sure to follow the Golden Rule of HALLOWEEN so I don't get haunted tonight! πŸ˜‰ #Iykyk). I found a nearby Corn Maze that looked fun and I was able to talk some of my siblings into going with me. The place we went to had a Corn Maze (we got lost and were very confused but my smart and observant brother was able to navigate us out), and a Haunted Trail that went inside of a Haunted House. I'm not big on "scary" but this was perfect and so much fun! Nothing too intense, plenty of jump scares and lots of laughter! Then there was a "Fright Lights" attraction which was a lot a cute and fun way to end the evening with a lot of Halloween lights and music. There were several employees throughout the entire venue with buckets of candy so I ended up with quite a stash, we joked that we should have brought buckets! I felt like I was trick-or-treating again! I am 30 years old and I got to "trick-or-treat" during Halloween of 2022! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚ We ended the night with delicious hot chocolate and a free pumpkin! πŸŽƒ Once we got home we watch Thriller! Which made me want to have a Michael Jackson music video marathon and we ended up watching Beat It and then Weird Al's Eat It and then Bad and Fat! Iconic! πŸ˜‚ The perfect way to end the night! 🧑

I hope you've had a fun holiday however you chose to celebrate! I feel satisfied with how I spent the season. I got to visit my favorite stores (and even bought a few new decorations), read several "Halloween books", many of which I read outside in the beautiful fall weather, watching the leaves fall from a tree in my backyard. πŸ‚ I watched several Halloween movies throughout the month: Maleficent II: Mistress of Evil (first time), (Beetlejuice (first time), Hotel Transylvania (first time), Ghostbusters (2016 - first time), Wait Until Dark, Willard (first time) and Ben (first time. I watched these last two because of the Michael Jackson song. If Michael's in it or related to it in any way, shape or form, I will watch! 😁). And listened to me ENTIRE EPIC HALLOWEEN PLAYLIST all month long!

Don't forget, tomorrow the Grateful For Music Challenge makes it's yearly comeback! πŸ™π…  Be prepared for an entirely different vibe then what you've seen this month!

This is HALLOWEEN 2022 signing off!!

HAPPY "MONSTEROUS" MONDAY! πŸ‘Ή

HAPPY, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
