How is it already August 22nd?? I'm barely cracking into the Bad chapter and the month's almost over! There's still so many wonderful songs to share!

Michael's comeback album, four years after the mind-blowing phenomenon of Thriller, is a treasure! I wouldn't say it was as ground-breaking and earth-shattering as Thriller was (although Michael was always trying to beat his own previous successes) it's still a phenomenal album where every song is a stand-out! Bad opens the album up with a bang and a whole new sound. It's a little edgier and Michael's style has evolved once again (and I'm a big fan of his look during this time period:). The video was inspired by West Side Story, a movie Michael was a big fan of. I also love the lyrics. A song with the title Bad, it makes you wonder for a second what this song is going to be about. But, at the end of the song, Michael is asking that we come together and make the world better. Also Bad means cool, confident and awesome! At least in this song :)
