PTX gave us Pentaholics a lot of new music the past couple of months which has been AWESOME (and extremely needed since COVID has made this such a trying year... their music is truly a light in the darkness). I posted one of those new songs as my "Birthday Dedication Song" last month, so make sure you check it out! They also tweeted a very suspicious tease this morning that makes it look like there is going to be a brand, new full-length album of PTX original music coming 10.16!! It seems so far away but I know it will be here sooner then I think! I am STOKED! 👏😝🙌 I have my fingers and toes crossed they will be releasing some more Christmas stuff this year too... they usually announce that they are around this time of year so I'm starting to get a little anxious about it... but they still got time! 🤞

Anyway, they released their cover of Tears For Fears Mad World on September 16th and it is crazy dark and dramatic y'all! Wow. Chilling. I thought it was the PERFECT song to add to this month's playlist! It really is a mad world we are living in what with COVID and social unrest, the impending election, natural disasters, etc. And things are only going to get.... madder. Soon we'll all be walking around with grins on our faces saying in dazed and disturbed tones "We're all mad here!" 😜

I have to include this EPIC and haunting version by Adam Lambert clear back in the day, when he was competing on American Idol! That was the first time I ever heard this song and I remember liking it (although it disturbed me a little too). Adam just performed it so well! I also remember Simon giving his first standing-O of the season!
