Last night went pretty well for the most part. But tomorrow is when the real anxiety begins.

This song means so much to me and holds a lot of meaning for me personally. The lyrics are vulnerably beautiful. This slowed-down cover from Colbie Caillat makes the song feel even more intimate and emotional. 

I hope to find someone someday that I can open up to and actually want them "to know who I am." Because I don't think there's a single soul in the entire world who truly knows me. I'm a very private person, even among my own family. But recently, I've been feeling like I'm constantly on the verge of a panic attack. I crave a human connection. I feel like I'm about to burst, I just want to spill my heart out to someone who won't judge me but will listen to me and hold me and tell me they love me anyway. I want it to be a man who is genuinely good and kind and patient and accepting. Who will try to understand but even if he doesn't, will love me despite it all. That's what I dream of.

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
