From Zac's Blue section of the Red Green Blue album. This song grew on me after hearing it live last September 🥺 I wish I could go back and re-live that day!! It was so magical 💙✨

Anyway. I've been starting to feel angsty and low-key panicked about Valentine's Day this year. It's stupid and I know I shouldn't but...I'm jealous. And depressed. I'm going on 30 years of never having had a Valentine. No secret admirer dropping something off, no dates, no gifts, flowers, nothing. I shouldn't complain, I've brought this upon myself. I chose to hide and not put myself out there and meet people. Maybe if I had, I'd have experienced some of these trivial but exciting things. My sister is in a relationship this year so I'm flying solo as a single lady. It's going to be really hard watching her get dressed up and go out for the evening. And then come home with a bouquet of flowers and a showering of gifts. Because her current beau is super sweet and worships the ground she walks on. I'm happy for her and she deserves to be treated like a Queen but...I'm also jealous. And feeling sorry for myself. I can't help it. I'm trying not to be but sometimes I give in.

Sorry, I needed to write down how I was feeling; get it off my heart and into the open. Maybe now I can take a deep breath and move on. Thanks for enduring me. This song starts out sounding like a typical "love song" but by the chorus, the wording changes a bit and seems to imply this is coming from a person who is longing to find "the one." They dream about their hopeful future love. They haven't met them yet but are anticipating the day when they will finally "wake up" from their current life of loneliness and solitude and find love and companionship. That's where I'm at right now. I dream about the kind of man I hope to marry someday. How he will love me and treat me. I pray he's out there and I do get to experience that intimate, romantic love someday in my lonely, pathetic life...*just now realizing how much I actually relate to the lyrics/message of this song...😳😵*

On a lighter note, how do you feel about the Lion King background vibe going on?? 😂 I didn't know how I felt about it at first, but it's grown on me. It gives the song a cool and unique tone.

An uplifting and beautiful message all about enduring...to keep going despite the challenges and difficulties in life. When you feel worn down and beaten up. Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
