The Hanson Brothers are total BEASTS!! They literally never stop creating music and I am here 👏 for 👏 it!! Being a Fanson is exciting! There's always something to look forward to! 


They have a *NEW* album coming out in May called Red, Green, Blue and what's super cool about this "concept" album, is it's basically three EP's in an album format where each brother has essentially a SOLO album/EP! This is something totally new for Hanson and I'm intrigued and can't wait to hear what each brother has come up with!

Similarly to ATW they are releasing one new single from each "album" for the next three months (February - Red, March - Green & April - Blue) until the album drops in May! This month is Red which is TAYLOR'S! Also, I like what they did here! Red dropped in February which has Valentine's Day, Green is dropping it's single in March which has St. Patrick's Day and Blue...well I don't know if there's a connection with April & the color Blue...springtime? Blue skies? Yeah, that works!

Reading the title of this month's single had me instantly intrigued. I knew the song would have some poignant, thought provoking lyrics as Taylor is such a philosophical, inspirational guy, haha. At least to me he is. He seems to be very in tune with his feelings and because of that has created some very beautiful and moving pieces of lyrical inspiration, beauty and ear candy.

My first impression of the song was...different. Because it's very different from anything I've heard from them before. But in a good way! The lyrics are what drew me in and even made me tear up (the chorus!? 😭 Right in the feels man! I feel that to my core, in my soul!!). The sound gives me Coldplay vibes. The more I listen to it the more I fall in love with it and find myself singing or humming the lyrics/melody to myself. It's truly beautiful and the lyrics are spot on!

On the other hand, my first impression of the music video!?... WHAT THE?! 😲 Haha!! WOW! Now this is a REAL departure from anything you're used to seeing from Hanson EVER! I didn't know what to think at first, but it makes me smile and I'm proud of the guys (especially Tay!) for stepping out of their comfort zone and doing something totally different! 

Shares Taylor Hanson, “The music video depicts a series of inflicted wounds and tragedies, which leave my character nearly dead. It’s meant to be a metaphor for the pain of life and love, and the ultimate redemption of his love rejoining him reinforces the song’s message that we have to remain open and hopeful, despite what life throws at us.”

They're always talking about how they are constantly thinking of new and creative ways to create, present & share their music. Those over achievers! Is there anything they haven't done!? Always an inspiration to me!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
