We all need encouragement to overcome the barriers in our lives, but Don’t Let Me Down is a personal message - I wrote it to myself. As I was facing the challenge of writing a solo project for the first time, I needed to hear, 'don’t let me down, your moment is now,' said Zac Hanson.

So, the lyrics are AWESOME! They're empowering and inspirational and the overall sound and feel of the song is totally rock n' roll! 👊 You'll be dancing, head-banging, fist-pumping and playing your air-guitar for days! But the MUSIC VIDEO!? I'm DY-ING! 😂😂 If I thought Taylor's Child At Heart was a departure from Hanson's typical "music video" style THIS is in a UNIVERSE of it's own! Guys. It's absolutely HILARIOUS & INSANE! 😂😝😜 You can tell they had a BLAST while making this! Let me just give you an idea of what you're about to witness: Zac Hanson with a serious handlebar mustache, short-shorts and a muscle suit. Frankie Muinez. Body-builders. Isaac and Taylor in wigs. Need I say more? Watch the madness ensue in the video below 😂

One of my favorite parts is the up close smirks Zac and Frankie give the camera 😂 It KILLS me! And the "weight lifting face-off poses" 😂 See minute marks 3:14 - 3:33 to see what I mean. I love Frankie Muinez! He was perfectly casted and fits in so well! I've always loved Zac's sense of humor and over the top personality and I admire that after all these years, he has stayed 100% true to himself and just goes for it! He does what HE wants to do and what HE thinks is fun! This video is pure entertainment! Comedy GOLD!🥇

"We’ve all been really good friends for over 20 years," said Frankie Muniz. "So when Zac asked me to be in a video, I thought it would be the ultimate gig for me because it was my dream as a kid to be a member of HANSON and now I’m getting to fulfill that dream."

"The collaboration came together through our mutual friendship," said Zach Myers. "I heard the song and it sounded different than anything I had heard from them. I got the gist of the project from them which I thought was really cool and such an original idea. The approach I took was adding what I do to what the song was – and it was already a really really good song. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out."

On a serious note (although it seems impossible to find anything serious from what was just shown above but bear with me) the lyrics are actually really, truly inspiring and motivational. It's a message and mantra I really need in my own life right now: "It's not a question of whether you're ready, only of what you'll allow" Hanson are the MASTERS of writing catchy, upbeat tunes with deep, profound lyrics buried underneath all the fun! I swear they just GET ME! Haha, it sounds dramatic but it's true! Soooo many of their songs are so incredibly relatable it's weird! I connect to so many in such a real, deep and personal way. Reason #5789233820 why I love music. It has the ability to connect people. You don't have to personally know them to feel seen and understood. It makes me realize I'm not really alone in my struggles and trials.

I can't WAIT for the rest of RGB to come out May 20th!! I'm going to do a "live review" - similar to what I did with String Theory - so check back for that coming in the next couple weeks! I haven't felt this excited for something in a loooong time and it feels so good! Hanson never fails to bring a smile to my face 😊 They are my ride or dies for LIFE! Never stop creating Hanson! I NEED you're creativity, light and humor!

It feels impossible to choose but if I had to put these songs in order it would be: 💓💙💚 by absolutely the smallest margin! Taylor's heartfelt ballad brought me to tears (again with the relatable/applicable lyrics! 😭). Zac's strong, rock-infused song is upbeat, energetic and inspirational all in one! Gives me the boost of confidence I need to "not let ME down!" And Isaac's sweet, sweet love song to his daughter is beautiful and melts my heart every time! 💕😭
