I know I haven't done my annual Month of Love Songs challenge this year. I haven't been up to it. It's been a hard week.

BUT, I do have to acknowledge Valentine's Day and share my two most favorite love songs of the season. These gorgeous songs are from Ed Sheeran's newest album and they are so beautiful and heartfelt and make me melt inside! 💓💕💗

Joker & The Queen has a music box feel to it; it's so delicate and soft. Starts off with a few notes on the piano and then the guitar and strings come in and it takes the song to another level! It's like floating on clouds ⛅ with rose petals 🌹 falling all around and candles burning 🕯. It's so romantic and beautiful and if you can't tell, I'm in love with it!! My favorite! I also love the metaphor of the cards ("You could fall for a thousand KINGS and HEARTS that could give you a DIAMOND ring .... when I FOLD you see the best in me the JOKER and the QUEEN").

Oh my!! I just found out the two actors in the video above are the same actors from Taylor Swifts music video for Everything Has Changed that Ed Sheeran collaborated on 9 years ago!! They're all grown up now and this is the cutest thing!! 💗




Love In Slow Motion is another one of my favorites from Ed this year! It's just so romantic and sweet and is just so "Ed Sheeran" ya know?? He has the BEST voice!! And I love his passion! 😍 Can you imagine being the inspiration behind an Ed Sheeran song?? Wow, dream come true!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
