I have begun listening to my Josh Groban playlist and these two gorgeous songs off his debut, self-titled album have always been two of my favorites. Although they make me cry. 😢

This song has always been so beautiful and special to me. With the gentle reminder that no matter what you go through in this life, you're still who you are. And the people we love who change and make choices we may not always agree with, we still love them because they are them. And they mean something to us. I don't know if that makes sense, but it's what I feel.

To Where You Are

This song is especially meaningful to me right now. I included it as one of my dedication songs to my dog after his passing back in August 😢 Something that is still affecting me to this day. I know he is still with me, I just wish I could have him here with me. 🖤🤍

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us. When we stop and allow ourselves to "give in" to the pain and sadness that comes with the stress of life, that's when we begin to slip and fall into a deep depression.
