I should say I'm sorry for being such a downer this month but I won't. I'm dealing with my emotions through the assistance of music and I'm still very sad and that's just how it's going to be for a while. Read my disclaimer from November 1st. You were warned.

I'm taking care of my neighbors dog this week. I almost began full on sobbing while walking her today! 😭 I walked her down the same trails I usually do when I've watched her in the past but this was the first time since my dog's passing that I have walked a dog. It broke my heart. 💔 I even called my neighbors dog by my dog's name and it was such a terrible feeling. I couldn't enjoy the music I was listening to. It was a beautiful, crisp day and I felt miserable. Guilty. Depressed. Crushed. These trails and walking paths bring me heartache and despair. They used to be one of my favorite places in the world to escape to now I try to escape them. Each time this dog stopped to sniff a tree or wander around I had to look away. Was the scent of my puppy still lingering a little bit on that post? On that tree trunk? He loved to mark his territory 😌 I miss my walks with him almost as much as I miss him.

These songs absolutely DESTROY me! I break down in a mess of tears and snot every time I listen to them. I have to make sure its at night when I have washed my make up off and won't be around anyone for the rest of the day.

I really do wish Heaven had visiting hours...I'd probably never leave but it'd be wonderful! Even if just in dreams, I wish I could sit and cuddle with my boy again and give him kisses and let him comfort me and give me the strength to face each new day. 😢💔
