I watched The Queen Family Sing-a-long on ABC Thursday night and this performance blew me away!! Now, I'm not the biggest Queen fan but I like a handful of their songs (notably their most well known songs) which were all performed on this special. I was not, however, familiar with the song Adam Lambert (who is the bands leading man these days) sang. His performance was excellent and I loved it! It was my favorite performance of the night (I even liked it more than Pentatonix's cover of Somebody to Love!). I haven't been able to get the song out of my head! I am also sharing the original version (below) so you can compare the two. Both are great but I'm biased to Adam's since I heard his first. Overall, the whole special was really fun and I recommend anyone, fan or not, to check it out!

I can't end my post about this sing-a-long without giving Pentatonix a much deserved shout out! They performed a great cover of Somebody to Love! I'm also including their EPIC cover of Bohemian Rhapsody!! It is mind blowing!!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
