It's been a nice day so far....I've been able to spend the day with a special Valentine....my sweet little nephew! 😚 He's so cute. I loves him.💙 Not gonna lie tho, I'm starting to feel it. The "Valentine Day Depression" of being single. It's so stupid! I always tell myself that it doesn't matter and to embrace your singleness and it's just ONE day that's barely significant and blah blah blah but I still get sad at the end of the day. I think it's a little harder this year because I have a 20 year old brother in a serious relationship with a girl and he just bought her flowers and a card and is putting together a really sweet gift for her and it makes me feel pathetic more than anything really. I've never had a boy think of me on Valentines Day. I've never had flowers sent or gifts given. I know it's my own dang fault and I have no one to blame but myself. I just sound whiny and pathetic. Ugh. On top of all that, and to feel even more of a loser, my 18 year old and 16 year old brothers have ladies in their life they're planning on spending the evening with. I'll be feeding my 2 year old nephew dinner, reading him stories and putting him to bed, that's how my Valentine's Day evening will go. 💔 Once he's down maybe I'll read for a bit and then watch a chick flick (right now I'm thinking A Walk to Remember). And you know what else!? Maybe I'll just go BUY myself some Valentine chocolates or ice cream or candy or something! TREAT YOSELF! LOVE YOSELF! YOU DON'T NEED NOBODY!!

I feel so "scandalous" sharing this song! Hahahahahaha! Not to rub my singleness into my face even more 😒 but yeah this is my honorary Day of Love song 2020! The first time I really heard this song was last July when I was listening to everything by Pentatonix and found their performance of this sultry song on The Sing Off. They KILLED it (of course), I LOVED it (of course) and the rest is history! I looked up the original version shortly after and have loved it ever since. It is a little more of a "provocative" and "sexy" song that I am used to sharing but it's also really passionate and you know how I feel about some PASSION! This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me!
