Grateful For Music Challenge Day 10

Song(s): All'Improvviso Amore and You Raise Me Up
Artist: Josh Groban, Closer

You win if you can pronounce the name of today's song!! As I have previously mentioned, November is Josh Groban month and I am taking that seriously this year by listening to every single one of his albums in order. To be honest, I haven't heard many of the songs off his first two albums because most of them I don't understand, the reason being they are in Italian .... I personally like his later albums better because most of the songs are in English therefore I can sing along to them easier :0) But I listened to his album Closer while I cleaned my room today (!!) and when this song came on I was like "Ooo! I love this!" Hahaha. And guys. Josh was only 22 years old when this album was released!! :0 Which most likely means he was only between the ages of 20 & 21 years old when he recorded it!! AND WHEN HE FIRST SANG YOU RAISE ME UP!! Which is one of the most iconic Josh Groban songs ever and it was sung by a 20/21 year old Josh!!! HOW DOES HE SOUND THAT GOOD THAT YOUNG!? And to be even more impressive than he already is, his debut album (which includes the song I posted a few days ago, The Prayer, came out when he was 19! His voice is so controlled and strong and PERFECT and he was barely out of the adolescence stage!! I hate him. Haha, jokes, jokes! I love him). I am floored. I won't even think about what I was doing at 21 .... heck I don't like to think about what I'm doing now at 27....

ANYWAY. I love this song even though I don't understand it. And I have decided I will also be sharing Your Raise Me Up because it is one of the BEST Josh Groban songs and I hate myself for never posting it here before. Who do I think I am? Claiming to be such a big Josh Groban fan yet neglecting to share one of his most beautiful songs ever?? I am grateful for this song because it has been a light for me in many dark places and times. It is so beautiful it can bring me to tears. It is powerful and hopeful and oh so wonderful! I am grateful that Josh Groban exists and shares his voice with the world :) It makes me very, very happy! (And I needed to feel happy because today has not been a very good day for me ..... I was hurt by someone and am feeling very angry and not thinking the nicest thoughts or using the nicest words about them right now .... good thing Josh Groban music is here to save the day!).

*I won't worry about posting lyrics to a song I'm sure most readers of this blog will be able to understand let alone read :) Just enjoy the enchanting voice that is Josh Groban and relax :)*

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary
When troubles come and my heart burdened be
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence
Until you come and sit awhile with me

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up... To more than I can be

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up... To more than I can be

You raise me up... To more than I can be
