So, I have to do something that is scary for me. It's something I can either do and gain experience from OR it is something I can chicken out of and take the easy way. I want to do it!! But I'm terrified!! I really am. I'll give you a hint: it involves driving .... but what makes it 10 times scarier is it involves driving SOMEBODY ELSE'S CAR!!! I'm not the greatest driver. And I tend to make mistakes when I get really anxious and nervous, especially while driving. My mind is currently going through all the worst case scenario's and situations that could potentially happen .... "What if I forget to put the car in park, what if I can't figure out how to work important functions of the car? What if I accidentally push the gas pedal instead of the brake? What if I run into something? What if I park too close to another car or I park crooked? What if I scrape or dent the car? What if I forget how to drive!?" Yeah. It's painful. But anyway, I chose this song mainly because of the title "Taking Chances." I need to do this. Deep down, I know I do. I need the experience. What's the point of me going through everything I went through to finally get my drivers license if I'm not going to use it!? If I'm not willing to drive. I wish driving wasn't so hard and scary for me but it is. It really, truly is. Here's to "taking a chance" today, a leap of faith! I've been praying basically non-stop since yesterday so here's to the power of prayer! And miracles!! WISH ME LUCK! I really NEED it!!!
