It's already time to kick-off my "January/New Years" challenge!!

I've decided that, since we're still at the very beginning of the "new" year I will find, listen to and post one brand "new" song that I have never heard before each day for one week. These will probably be coming from artists I like and am familiar with but I will choose songs I have never heard from them before. This may also include me typing random words into the search bar on youtube and seeing what pops up :) I actually found the song "Camera Shy" that way ..... and the song "Lost Boy" so I know it does work.

Today, I am kicking things off with one of my favorites, the Goo Goo Dolls! This past year I really got back into the Goo Goo Dolls with the release of their new album Boxes and then just purchasing some of their older music, I have been loving me some Goo Goo! I discovered this song while I was looking through the Goo Goo Dolls song collection on itunes. It was featured in the television show Hawaii Five-O. I listened to the little sample clip and liked what I was hearing. So, here's my "brand new" song to kick off my "brand new" song challenge of the "brand new year." I hope it's a good one!!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
