HAPPY NATIONAL READ ACROSS AMERICA DAY  AKA  DR. SEUSS'S BIRTHDAY!! Dr. Seuss always has been and always will be one of my (if not my very ) favorite authors! I truly believe it was because of his fantastically creative, whimsical books and characters that nurtured my love of reading. I am challenging myself, once again, to read every, single Dr. Seuss book in order throughout the month (I got so close last year but ended up not finishing even though I went clear into the month of April!). I loved the lyrics and searched and searched (by typing the beginning words into the youtube search bar in order to find the song because I had no idea what it was called!) until I found it! I have listened to it on repeat today. It's so cute! It has such a chill and relaxed vibe and just makes me happy 😊 The lyrics are so sweet and romantic! Song: Shallow Artist: Pentatonix Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know this song is from the hit movie A Star Is Born where Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper were just  PHENOMENAL   and gave the performance of a lifetime .....can you detect my sarcasm yet? Yeah, I never saw the movie. And honestly, the first time I heard this song was PTX's cover and I was blown away as always with the beauty of the song. I have heard the original but in my opinion, Pentatonix are in a league of their own and they can't help but make every song better than it originally was. I love the cello and their harmonies are haunting! Kirstin is a fantastic lead and there is so much emotion and passion! Also, the lyrics are really beautiful (and I'm not giving Pentatonix the credit for that OK? That's all on the songwriters). They make me think of taking a risk for the sake of love. Song: Disney Love Medley Artist: Voctave feat. Kirstin Maldonado & Jeremy Michael Lewis Disney songs are the BEST! And Disney LOVE songs are even better! 😉😍 This medley is gorgeous and the "love" songs they chose to create this medley with are different from the more "common" choices and I LOVE them all! Voctave is an acapella group on youtube who are pretty cool, so give them a listen. And Kirstin is from the amazing Pentatonix so that makes this whole thing even better because I love her voice! And the Jeremy guy singing with her was her fiance at the time....they have since broken up....awkward. But, it was sweet at the time and he also has a beautiful voice!
