Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know this song is from the hit movie A Star Is Born where Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper were just PHENOMENAL and gave the performance of a lifetime.....can you detect my sarcasm yet? Yeah, I never saw the movie. And honestly, the first time I heard this song was PTX's cover and I was blown away as always with the beauty of the song. I have heard the original but in my opinion, Pentatonix are in a league of their own and they can't help but make every song better than it originally was.

I love the cello and their harmonies are haunting! Kirstin is a fantastic lead and there is so much emotion and passion! Also, the lyrics are really beautiful (and I'm not giving Pentatonix the credit for that OK? That's all on the songwriters). They make me think of taking a risk for the sake of love. To be brave and completely give in to the experience. I really hope to find that someday.

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
