I celebrated this GORGEOUS fall day with a bike ride and walk through some beautiful fall foliage. 🍁🍂 It was perfect, I didn't want it to end. But it did, and all too soon. 😔 Next week the weather drops severely and it breaks my heart. 💔 I'm not ready for the cold, not yet! It just finally got to the perfect "sweater weather!" GIVE ME MORE TIME TO ENJOY IT!! I swear I went from wearing shorts last week to soon to be pulling out my winter coat! 😩

OK. Wow. STOP. IT. Why do I keep complaining!? I've gotten to experience and do so much. I'm stopping this RIGHT NOW. I'm going to stop dreading the future and start enjoying every moment of every day and romanticizing it to be the MAX! As I mentioned above, I went on the most beautiful and perfect autumnal bike ride (because I live in the most beautiful area! 🙏), I've been watching the original Addams Family television show (it's so wholesome and fun! 🖤), listening to my Halloween tunes, listened to the The Legend of Sleepy Hollow & Rip Van Winkle while doing house work and tonight I am indulging in some Halloween goodies while watching Bewitched! with the house to myself (always a rare and special treat!). And then tomorrow, after a big work day is over, I get to go out with my sister and sister-in-law for a fun, witchy girls night out! It's going to be SO fun and I get to dress up! I have A LOT to look forward too, don't I? Time to grind for the next few hours so tonight's festivities feel well worth it!

This song is funny to me because I had a family member make a funny cover of this song years ago and it's kinda like family lore at this point and is iconic and it's a memory that makes me laugh! And that's what I need right now. I need to smile and reminisce and be grateful for the good times. I had never even heard the original version until recently and let me just say, my family member did a dang good job! 😆 They sound almost identical!!
