I honestly can't believe we are here again but....

HAPPY OCTOBER! 🍁🎃👻

I had a lovely, lazy day celebrating the beginning of the holidays. I took the most gorgeous walk (which happens to be in my own neighborhood...blessed 🙏) while listening to my Halloween playlist, made homemade Pumpkin Spice waffles on my mini, pumpkin shaped waffle maker 😁, read from Frankenstein (an adapted version so it's a bit shorter so I can more quickly get to my actual Halloween book: The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein), re-watched a few episodes of Wednesday as I cooked dinner, watched the latest Agatha All Along episode, indulged in some Monster cereal as a sweet treat because I absolutely loooove the monster cereals and they only come out this time of year so I...stocked up 😅#guiltypleasure and am ending the night in my bed with my Halloween lights on, writing this post. 

I know I've already posted a version of this song before...but I decided to give Miley's a listen today. It's definitely heavy in the spooky "Halloween" vibe so that's what I decided to go with today to kick off the season! 👻

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
