Sadly, I've really not been very inspired this month when it comes to my daily posting....I mean, I'm totally doing all the "things" this Spooktober i.e. I've decorated my house/bedroom, gone to a corn maze and haunted house, I've trying out various pumpkin spice related recipes, I've been watching "Halloween-esque" shows and movies, checking out fun décor and listening to my Halloween playlist. But when it comes to finding new music to share...not so much. 

SO. I'm just pursuing my ever growing playlist on my phone and choosing a random song that I added at some point this year, thinking it gave off a "spooky", "eeire", "creepy" vibe....and that's Animals! I haven't heard this song in a while so let's give it a listen! I obviously added it at one point keeping it in mind for this very season sooooo....it should work!

OK....after going through the lyrics and getting the video below...this TOTALLY works! Check out those snakes! 😱🐍 HORRIFYING! And the lyrics reference "prey" and "hunting" and "eat you alive" (I shared a song a few years ago called Eaten Alive...check it out!) and that's all kinda disturbing and intense; so it's right at home on this playlist!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
