I had a pretty good day, but here I am at the end of the night having those sad, depressing thoughts and feelings. Maybe it's because I'm sitting here home alone again, while everyone else has somewhere to go and someone to be with. I'm trying not to be such a negative Nancy all of the time and appreciate and do the things that bring me joy. Instead, I binge ate a bunch of junk food (thanks depression and starting my period...🙄) and have been sitting here trying to come up with a song to share. 

I've decided to try another brand new song from Mat & Savanna Shaw and give my live reaction/first impression thoughts below because it's been that kind of day for me; where my inspiration has run dry and nothing seems to excite or calm me. I'm hoping for good things from this song, the title makes it sound very sweet and promising!  🙏🤞 Looking for Christmas cheer and magic....

LIVE REACTION THOUGHTS: I absolutely LOVE THIS! 💗 This was exactly what I needed to lift my spirits!! Such a joyful, upbeat, sweet, happy song! I began compiling a list of fun Christmas activities to do with my family this month and I feel like this song will be our family theme song as we (hopefully!) go about doing some festive things together! Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us. When we stop and allow ourselves to "give in" to the pain and sadness that comes with the stress of life, that's when we begin to slip and fall into a deep depression.
