Grateful For Music Challenge Day 5

Song: Let Me Fall
Artist: Josh Groban

It's re-set Sunday!!

Time to turn my frown upside down and move forward with faith and a positive attitude! πŸ‘Š That's my plan at this current moment at least. I hope I can keep the momentum going.

Today I present the first Josh Groban song of the season to officially kick-off "Josh Groban Month!" πŸŽ‰ I have begun my yearly "Josh Groban Marathon" by listening to his very first, self-titled, debut album. This is the song that stuck out to me this listen. The lyrics really spoke to me. It's a song about courage and self-discovery. About being brave enough to discover your own, individual worth. About being strong and brave on your own. Having the courage to take risks and "fall" without anyone there to catch you. Being your own hero. Being OK with being you. At least that's the message I took away.

Let me fall, let me climb
There's a moment when fear and dream must collide

Someone I am is waiting for courage
The one I want, the one I will become, will catch me

So let me fall, if I must fall
I won't heed your warnings, I won't hear them
Let me fall, if I fall
Though the phoenix, may or may not rise

I will dance so freely, holding on to no one
You can hold me only if you too will fall
Away from all these useless fears and shame

Oh, someone I am is waiting for my courage
The one I want, the one I will become, will catch me

So let me fall, if I must fall
I won't heed your warning, I won't hear
Let me fall, if I fall
There's no reason to miss this one chance
This perfect moment just let me fall
