I can never seem to share just one song anymore, can I? 😅 I just love this time of year so much, especially when it comes to music! I have had my Halloween Playlist on shuffle all month long and it has been a blast! 🎃 It's the little things that help immerse me in the season and feel the holiday spirit 😊 It might be corny and dumb to some people, but it makes me happy and that's what I want to focus on and care about.

I have been a fan of this youtube couple for a while now, especially their "spooky" tunes (many of which, have been featured here on my channel over the past couple of years). They have beautiful voices that compliment each other perfectly and fit the "aesthetic" of the season. 🎃👻 These two songs are eerie and beautiful and I've really been enjoying them this month! Especially Lullaby of Woe, it's perfect "witch" vibes! And it's been a "witchy" October for me between reading Magic Lessons and watching Practical Magic. The description on their channel for the song A Whistling Lad says: "This original sea-faring song tells the origin of the superstitious belief that whistling on a ship brings bad luck. 🏴‍☠️" So it's an original Halloween shanty! 💀 Their videos are also always so well done and fun to watch!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
