This collab between the Goo Goo Dolls and the group they're currently on tour with, O.A.R., came out clear back in May! I've loved the song since it was released and feel like it's the perfect power anthem that I need in my life right about now. 👊 I was having a super hard time coming up with a song for this months "30 on the 30th" since I spent the majority of July listening to an audiobook and sneaking in Christmas music here and there (for Christmas in July of course! 🎄😁). This song came to mind and it's perfect since I'll be seeing the Goo Goo Dolls and O.A.R. LIVE in exactly ONE MONTH (+ a day)!! I am SO STOKED!!! I can't freaking WAIT!! 

I love the message of this song. It's about standing up for yourself, something I'm trying to get better at. To not to let the opinions of others tell me who I should be, how I should think and feel, what I should do with my life. And to also not allow others to make me feel ashamed of who I am and what I believe in. "I'll stand my ground. Won't be turned around. And I'll keep this world from draggin' me down gonna stand my ground. And I won't back down...there ain't no easy way out...I know what's right, I got just one life. In a world that keeps on pushin' me around no, I'll stand my ground. And I won't back down." 👊 I CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR THIS LIVE NEXT MONTH!! 🙌🤘 It's going to be a powerful and inspiring moment!! ✨

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
