Welcome back to another year of music that is sure to thrill you and perhaps send a shiver or two down your spine.😈 All month long I'll be sharing songs that fit some sort of "spooky"😱, "ghostly"👻 and "Halloween" theme. 🎃 This is one of my favorite blog challenges and I have racked up quite a collection of "spooktacular" music for the perfect Halloween Playlist!

OK, I know I just talked up how "creepy" and "spooky" this month of music is going to be only to start with a pretty "normal", very non-scary country song. But, I like to save the really "eerie" and dramatic songs for later in the month as we get closer to Halloween. The song is called Ghost Story which is totally Halloween. 👻 I haven't actually listened to this song....when I saw the name after it came out (months ago), I immediately saved the song to my Halloween playlist and have held on to it for this very moment! I hope it's good, lol. 

*UPDATE* I think this song TOTALLY works!! From the lyrics to the music video, with all the dramatic effects, this was a GREAT choice to start "Ghostober" with if I do say so myself! 😉

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us. When we stop and allow ourselves to "give in" to the pain and sadness that comes with the stress of life, that's when we begin to slip and fall into a deep depression.
