I won't lie, today has been extremely emotional for me. I feel like a complete and utter failure. My life is going nowhere. I'm scared of the future and don't even want a future. 

It's also been one of those days where I've been missing my dog a little more than usual (which is a lot). 🖤🤍💔

Nighttime is always the hardest time of day. Especially lately. I can't sleep. And I'm left completely alone with my thoughts, which often are overwhelming and depressing. I don't want to get up in the morning, the light of day does nothing to take away the dark from the night. I'm so depressed and it's just getting worse and worse. I wish my puppy dog was here to take some of this pain away. When he was here I had a reason. I reason to smile. A reason to get up. Someone to take care of. Unconditional love. And although I know he's not really gone, the physical separation is more than I can take. 

Sorry for the heaviness of today's post, but it's where I'm at right now. This song about nightmares and darkness is a perfect fit for my Halloween playlist. And for my current state of mind. Also, Rasputin was one of those animated villain's that was actually legit scary!
