JACK JOHNSON CONCERT - 30TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION PART I!

I saw JACK JOHNSON tonight and

HE.

WAS.

PERFECT!! 

EVERYTHING ABOUT TONIGHT was PERFECT in every way! Perfect weather, perfect company, perfect view, perfect set list, perfect voice, perfect, perfect, PERFECT!!! 🤩

THIS IS HOW YOU KICK OFF YOUR 30TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!!!! 🥳🎂🎈

Jack did NOT disappoint! His setlist was incredible! He sang ALL of my favorites and then some! It was the perfect mix of fan favorites, his newest songs and covers. He even did some medleys of songs that worked so well together they sounded like they could be one song! IT WAS EVERYTHING I HOPED IT WOULD BE AND THEN SOME!!!!

I have to shout out Jack's band, especially Zach Gill his bandmate! That man is so talented! He played multiple instruments including the piano/keys, accordion and a Melodihorn (click to see what that is! Yes, I googled "piano that you blow air into" to figure out the name 😅) and on top of that he could SANG! That boy had soul! 😍 It also happened to be the drummers birthday that night, so he came and gave a funny performance and my man JACK played the DRUMS! It was just an AWESOME night!! I was up close to the stage, I had the most perfect view of Jack and he was so dang cool and freaking AMAZING!! He sounds just as good live! It blows my mind!! And he's up on stage rockin' his guitar, sounding flawless in a t-shirt, jeans and flip-flops, like what!? We stan a humble king!

The venue was outdoor and it was literally a perfect summer night! It wasn't too hot, the music was incredible, I was in my own perfect little world! My ultimate happy place! 😊 There were a couple of drunk people around me and plenty of people vaping, but nothing that disrupted my night! It was a good time and good vibes all around! I was hollerin' and cheering up a storm! Dancing and singing my heart out! I filmed pretty much every song, but tried to be in the moment as much as possible, it's a difficult balance. My brother said I was fangirling so hard it was adorable 😂 thanks, lol. I really didn't care what people thought of me in that moment. I didn't care how I sounded or looked or anything! I was just in awe. There, a mere 20 feet in front of me, stood JACK freaking JOHNSON!!! One of my top three most favorite artists EVER!! IN REAL LIFE!!! 😭 If I had been right up front I COULD HAVE TOUCHED HIM!! It's a night I will never forget! 🤍

Grateful. Words can't express how grateful I am for this opportunity; something I have been waiting months for (I bought my tickets December 31st!). Not only months, but years. I've been a fan since 2010 at least! I'm so grateful I got to be there and enjoy this incredible musician that I love and admire so much, playing music I have loved for years, live. Grateful that Jack was on his A-game! Grateful for the safety; in traveling to and from and while in the venue. Grateful for my brother and cousin who were willing to go and enjoy the night with me and let me be free to fangirl and lose myself in pure bliss and joy! That they waited in line with me to get merch after the show. That they didn't get frustrated with me when I wanted to just stand for over an hour in place because I was NOT going to lose the INCREDIBLE spot we had or miss Jack coming out on stage. This is truly a dream come true, a bucket list item for me! I am so blessed. 🙏

Jack just set the bar incredibly HIGH! I'm seeing Hanson (!!) in 5 days and all I can say is...they have some BIG shoes to fill!! THAT'S how good tonight was!!! 🖤🤍✨🙌😍😭
