Buddha Too

Song: Buddha Too
Artist: Mason Jennings & Jack Johnson

So, I wasn't planning on posting today but I just discovered this song late last night (or early, early this morning, however you want to look at it 😉) and I'm kinda obsessed and decided I should share! I love it so much!! It's so fun and unique and has a message of universal oneness. Even though I have my personal beliefs in God and who He is and how I worship Him, I respect others and their different beliefs and ideas and actually find many fascinating and inspiring. And that's the message of this song and what it's saying. Respect others. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!

ALSO: I just bought tickets to my first ever Jack Johnson CONCERT this summer and I'm STOKED!!

Oh, Jesus, I love you
And I love Buddha too
Rama Krishna Guru Dev
Daodejing and Muhammad
Why do some people say
That there is just one way
To love you, God, and come to you
We are all apart of you

When prophets say they've heard
The one and only word
And every word is different
God becomes an argument
And we are left to choose
A side or to refuse
The whole thing in its humanness
Learn from each with tolerance
Alright
Alright
Alright
I love you and Buddha too

Oh, Jesus, I love you
And I love Buddha too
Rama Krishna Guru Dev
Daodejing and Muhammad
Why do some people say
That there is just one way
To love you, God, and come to you
We are all apart of you

You are unnamable
You are unknowable
All we have is metaphor
That's what time and space are for
It's the universal thought
You are and you are not
You are many, you are one
Ever ending just begun
All right
All right
All right

Oh, Jesus, I love you
And I love Buddha too
Rama Krishna Guru Dev
Daodejing and Muhammad
Why do some people say
That there is just one way
To love you, God, and come to you
We are all apart of you

All right
You are unnamable
All right
You are unknowable
All right
All we have is metaphor
I love you, and Buddha too, alright
It's the universal thought
Alright
You are and you are not
Alright
You are many, you are one
I love you, and Buddha too
You are many, you are one
Never-ending, just begun, alright
I love you and Buddha too, alright
It's the universal thought, alright
I love you and Buddha too, alright
