I don't know why I can't ever seem to just choose one version of one song anymore! I love too many different versions by too many different artists! Each rendition is similar but also unique in it's interpretation of this beautiful Christmas hymn. If I'm being honest...this song has never been one of my favorites before. I always found it a little slow and, dare I say, even *boring* I've always loved the melody but the song itself seemed to drag. But this year, I've been loving it! And it's come up quite a few times on my massive Christmas playlist that I've been listening to all month! I hope you enjoy all 3 versions and can feel the beauty and peace in each individual one.

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
