WARNING: Keepin' things very real today. You have been warned...you may want to just skip to the song if you have a weak stomach: I have felt AWFUL all day long! I think I may have had a little food poisoning because I actually threw up and it was the most unpleasant, awful experience. 😰 If I sound dramatic about it, that's because I haven't vomited in over TEN YEARS. Yeah. It was terrible to say the least - sorry for the TMI. But I have been feeling nauseous and sick all freaking day long and it's SUCKED! I mean, I guess I did get to watch a lot of Christmas movies but it was hard to fully enjoy them because my body was in so much pain and I wanted to hurl the majority of the day - even though there was literally nothing in my body to bring up because I couldn't eat all day long. 

I was awaken around 2:30 in the morning by nausea and stomach pains and didn't get back to "sleep" until around 8 or 9 AM and even then, I just dozed restlessly in and out. Around 3:30 this afternoon the pain had subsided to more of a dull ache and the nausea had let up a bit so I tried taking a little nap. I played some soft, pretty Christmas music which really actually helped me get some real sleep. I woke up just in time to fully hear this beautiful song. And I was actually feeling so much better after having got a little bit of rest.

I love the message of this new Christmas song from father-daughter team Mat and Savanna. It's got such a positive message with an upbeat melody. Their music arrangements are always fantastic!  I hope this song can bring whoever needs it a little bit of joy and happiness this time of year and find the "Christmas" in every day all year long. One of my favorite "new finds" this holiday season.

And pray that I'll be recovered by tomorrow! 🙏 I have high hopes that I will at least be feeling somewhat better, but today was a doozy and I don't want to re-live it again! Throwing up is no joke people! Sorry to make this gross, enjoy the pretty song and try not to think of a random stranger up-chucking the massive amounts of shrimp they consumed the night before...

I can never seem to find the lyrics to their original songs! 😒

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
