#STARTINGTODAY: I'm Making Time For Him





My Testimony: Easter 2021 - As I have listened to God's living Prophets and Apostles teach inspired words of love and truth these past two days, I have felt love for and from God. Jesus Christ is not just the Savior of the world, He is my personal Savior. Over the past few years, I have reflected more and more on this truth of Jesus Christ. Although it is difficult to fully comprehend, I know that He died for me. He died for each of my siblings. And my parents. And every other person who ever has or will live on this earth. I am so grateful to be a member of Jesus Christ's restored church. To have living modern day prophets who lead and guide us and teach us Christ's word. Whose words I find immediate peace and hope when I hear them. That, although we live in a troubled world, God is watching over us. That it's all in His hands. That He is the way, the only way, to happiness and joy in this life. If I choose to follow Him, I cannot fail. I have no reason to fear. He is my Savior. My God. I strive to follow Him every day. To be near Him. I love my Savior! I marvel at his sacrifice for me. I know I am saved by His "amazing grace!" My chains are gone, I've been set free! My God, My Savior has ransomed me! 💗

This song always pulls on my heartstrings!! 😭💓 There is no way I can come even close to comprehending what the Savior did for me. I can only imagine the overwhelming love, gratitude and joy I will feel when I see my Savior again. To feel the wounds in His hands and feet. To be wrapped in His arms of the purest love imaginable. I can only imagine.

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
