HAPPY MONTH OF LOVE SONGS 2021!!💘

That's right! I'm bringing this annual, holiday tradition back once more! This is one of my favorite traditions here at Music Is My Therapy (even though I think I say that about all of them; I just get so excited when it's time for one of my musical challenges to begin!). Music is my true love, and this month, it's all about sharing that universal LOVE!! 💖 Music is for EVERYONE!

I'm kicking things off with the ULTIMATE love song!! This song is iconic not only because it's sung by a legend (the fantastic Mr. Nat King Cole!), but because it holds sentimental meaning in my family. When my grandpa got remarried (going on 16 years ago!) a few of my siblings and I performed this song at their wedding 😂 It was a HIT I tell you! One of my cousins who attended the wedding loved our performance so much he asked us to sing it again at his wedding (which was only a few months later!). Haha!! Oh the memories! Our rendition was performed in the style of this classic performance:

No wonder it was such hit!! I can only imagine what the audience was thinking while watching us kids sing our heart out, hahaha! Adorable!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
