*I have to preface this next song. This is my "angry & bitter" song. And I know, it's so random and out of the blue but who else remembers this guy!? My sister gave this CD to me years ago for Christmas and as I was brainstorming song ideas for this week, this song popped into my head! I haven't thought about or listened to this album in years! So random! But, it works.*


I still can't forget the way you were so happy to see me leave. When we both knew it was my last time, possibly forever, you didn't even hug me good-bye, you practically pushed me out the door! Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
