New song discovery 2020! And OMGOSH! I'm obsessed!! Little Michael is sooooo adorable!!! I've been loving this cheesy, catchy little Christmas tune! 💚

Another reason I'm sharing this song today is because I can (sadly) relate to some of the lyrics (see the italicized ones below). 😔 I've been having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit. We're already a week in to December and I don't feel the magic, joy, excitement and wonder. I haven't even really been listening to much Christmas music!! What is wrong with me!? Why am I feelings so depressed!? This is the happiest time of the year! I've got my whole, entire family here! That hasn't happened in years! Then, why, why can't I feel happy? And excited? And motivated? It makes me so sad. I need Christmas, more than ever! 

I need to prioritize. I need to set goals. I have to stop with the patterns I'm currently living in day in and day out. I need to immerse myself in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I need to remember the true meaning of Christmas every day. I need to take time to be quiet. To reflect. I need to count my blessings. I need to smile more. I need to serve more. Here's to finding the true meaning of Christmas and filling my life with peace, joy and goodwill toward men! I'll keep you posted.

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
