It's the last day of November!! You know what that means.... CHRISTMAS IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!! 🎄🎅🤶🧧🎁🍬🍪⭐ Which also means that my annual Musical Christmas Advent is about to get started!!! I can't wait!! Christmas music all day, e'rey dayyyyyy!! 

Speaking of Christmas music, although not originally a Christmas song, this Goo Goo Dolls classic made it's way on their FIRST EVER CHRISTMAS ALBUM!!! And it is so pure! 😭 I was quite surprised the first time I listened to this "Christmasfied" version several weeks ago. Instead of those familiar gravelly tones of John, a sweet and adorable voice of a very young child filled my ears! I wasn't expecting it at all and at first, I didn't know what to think! Was it cheesy? Cringey? Do I want Johnny!?! But, after my initial shock wore off, it's become one of my favorite tracks from the album!! There is something so pure and sweet about a child singing for Better Days. The hope that lives within every child's heart. The innocent love, faith and trust children have 💓😭 That's what we need. Especially now. This was such a genius move on the Goo Goo Dolls part! Such a powerful rendition! And the lyrics? .... 💓🙏 I can't. (*I googled who the little girl singing is, and all I could find was an article that said she's the daughter of a long-time collaborator & co-producer of the album). Grab some tissues and get prepared because her little voice is about to MELT YOUR HEART!! 🤍🤍🤍

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
