Grateful For Music Challenge Day 25

I had to highlight at least one new song from Josh Groban's *NEW* album Harmony! I didn't get to listen to as much Josh as I would have liked to this month this year 😥 But that's alright, because I discovered and listened to a lot of great new music (that I have shared throughout the month). Besides, Josh will always be there, it doesn't have to be just during November! 

I feel this song is the PERFECT gateway to my Thanksgiving celebrations (which begin TOMORROW!). This year is going to be super special and intimate. I'll be with just my immediate family, we all get to help make all of our favorite foods for our Thanksgiving feast and just enjoy one another's company. I can't wait! It's truly a celebration this year as I have so much family back home! We all finally live within the same state/doable driving distance. No more siblings living across the country! Christmas is going to be even more spectacular and wonderful as ALL my family will be together again (for the first time in years!). 

I can just imagine this song playing as each of my family members arrive and walk through the door! 😭 It's going to be so special! And I'll have to do it again during Christmas (when literally everyone will be walking through the front door!!) 😭😭 I CAN'T WAIT TO CELEBRATE EVERYONE COMING HOME!!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us. When we stop and allow ourselves to "give in" to the pain and sadness that comes with the stress of life, that's when we begin to slip and fall into a deep depression.
