Who remembers this song from the movie Holes!? I don't.....not until just recently when I saw it again (I LOVE this movie! I loved the book as a kid....I should read it again).....but I do remember this song from my mom's One Fine Day CD.....hahaha. I listened to my parents music a lot growing up. That probably explains my preference of 80's/70's music to today's top hits. ANYWAY. I like this song. I think it's precious 😊 It might be kinda cheesy but it has a BEAUTIFUL message! It doesn't matter what race, religion, sex, whatever it is is that makes us different, we're all human, we all experience human pain and emotion and deep down we're all the same. I like that. It's a good reminder, especially in today's world where people are constantly belittling, mocking and shaming others based on our differences. I'm not perfect, I find myself doing this sometimes. That's why I like songs like this because it reminds me of a simple and basic truth.

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
