Today has been.....a day. I'm feeling really angry and depressed right now. I got into it with a family member and my feelings are really hurt right now. I've been crying practically all evening. I feel so pathetic and don't feel like I have anyone I can talk to. I don't feel the Christmas spirit at all. It's pretty sad. I just feel super deflated and defeated. Nothing really matters anymore. I feel like Christmas is never going to be or feel the same again and it makes me really, really sad. This has been such a difficult year for me personally and I was really hoping the holidays would be different. But it hasn't been. No matter how hard I have tried. I just want to curl up in bed, sob my eyes out, go to sleep and never wake up!

This is really depressing, I'm sorry. I hate to be such a Scrooge this close to Christmas (I just finished reading A Christmas Carol btw. I feel like I can relate to Ebeneezer Scrooge in a lot of ways and it makes me sad. I always feel bad for him. But that's another in-depth-sob-story-pity-party-post for another time) but I can't help it. I swear I have no control over my emotions!!

I really do love this beautiful song I recently discovered though. And it's currently stuck in my head (I keep singing a part that goes I take a walk...). This song is so peaceful and calming....maybe after I listen to it (after posting it) I will start to feel better. Maybe I will remember the true meaning of Christmas.

This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
