MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!

Today has been so wonderful! I have been baking up a storm of holiday goodies, listening to Christmas music, putting together a puzzle, watching Christmas movie and spending time with my family :) This is my happy place! 😁

Although I am happy and enjoying the holiday season, a part of me is a little sad. Both of my sisters won't be home for Christmas this year 😭 One is married and will be spending Christmas with her husbands side of the family (....trying not to feel too jealous about that...I really don't like this sharing/trade off thing....no one else get married, got it!?) and my other sister is serving a mission (which is a wonderful thing but makes times like this a little hard). I miss them both. A LOT. It doesn't feel the same. Living with three brothers really makes me appreciate the fact that I have sisters!! And that I have had them all my life! They can be such a welcome respite from the wild and craziness of brothers (love them though I do).

So, this song is dedicated to my two best friends, my sisters, who will be spending Christmas far away. I miss them so much!! I love them so much!! And I can't wait for next Christmas when my whole family will be all together again!! That hasn't happened since I believe 2015....way too long!! Merry Christmas my dear sisters!! I love and miss you so, so much!! 💔

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
