CHRISTMAS TIME IS HERE!!!

HAPPY, HAPPY DECEMBER Y'ALL!!!

We've made it to the most wonderful, magical, special time of year!! I cannot believe we are in the final month of the year 2019. I cannot believe I have to start saying 2020 in one month's time. That's so weird!! But, I am SO happy and excited for the holidays!! I hope to make this a Christmas to remember! That it will be special and filled with love and joy, gratitude and service. I really want to remember Christ this year and what Christmas is really all about.

I've been doing this Musical Christmas Advent on my blog since the beginning, 2014! I feel like I'm running out of songs, I've practically done them all! Haha, no, I'm sure there are plenty of songs left out there to get me through another year (or 2;) And don't be surprised to see "repeats" of songs I've done before .... just by different artists. There are so many versions that I love! We are kicking the Christmas season off with Josh Groban's (this wasn't on purpose I swear!) beautiful version of Angels We Have Heard On High. This arrangement is so unique and lovely and I've been really enjoying it this holiday season :)

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling. Being weighed-down by the burdens and challenges life brings to each and every one of us.
