 I am so stoked I found this on youtube!! Below is a recording from Hanson Day 2016 when this song was first performed. I remember listening to it (via live stream) and falling absolutely in love! It was one of the those special moments where you feel what you are hearing so intensely that your heart can barely take it and you just explode because you know you have just found a song that you will love forever! It was like that. And it was because of this live version (below). The lyrics really just touch me. And the message speaks to me in a very real and personal way. I also just really love the way Taylor sings it .... especially "My story isn't sterile been on both sides of BARREL!" (minute 0:33-0:38). Ugh! It's so good!! His voice has so much passion and just, I don't know. I just remember loving that part and the way he sang it. Nothing like Hanson live. Too good. The album version is still beautiful and amazing and still gives me chills and happy feels but nothing compares to that "first time feeling." Nothing. So, the fact that someone captured that moment and then generously uploaded it to youtube means a lot to me. I hope they don't mind me sharing it here.

Also, please note Isaac totally ROCKING the drums!! So proud of him!

Song: Siren Call Artist: Hanson This song is off of Hanson's Fan Club EP: Loud (2016). I have been slightly obsessed with this haunting song as of late. This song is about dealing with depression ( Zac Hanson even said so ! Be forewarned, explicit language is used in this video. I'm so sorry). Once I heard Zac explain the meaning and message behind this song it made so much sense to me! I have always loved it and I've always known it had a powerful message but I could never quite figure out what it was. This song is about struggling.
